Ah this wonderful electronic age we're in now days… you can go from not thinking much about the past, to a website and wondering about all those people that were so much a part of the past & your life (almost a dream if you hadn't actually been there…) and to sending a note to someone (wondering if and when they'd ever get it) and then within minutes (from 1000's of miles away no less) ~ POOF! ~ A reply… NICE!

It's nice to think we're all doing well! I have experienced the route of divorce (a few/several/many times unfortunately) although I wouldn't trade off my three sons (from my first marriage) for anything. They're 44, 42 and 40 (this year) and are a product from my marriage to Wendy Williams (now Mrs. Dave Kano) ~ you all may remember her. She was about the only one I dated in high school (what's up with that), but the results of the marriage were my three sons who all turned out terrific. The oldest (Jake), married and a parent himself (yes, I'm a grandfather now – go figure!) and working in Ogden Salt Lake City for a high-end medical/health product research firm; the second oldest (Sky) is still a very successful professional photographer based here in Salt Lake City but does work all over the world (both photo & video – check out his website (http://www.vitabrevisfilms.com/); my youngest (Abram) is a Landscape Architect now based out of Salt Lake City and works for the Intermountain’s largest architect firm (FFK&R)

Education, Career, Employment
After graduating from high school, I went to Utah State and Weber State for a while before I began my working career.  Many years later I decided I needed to finish my education, and so I finished a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1990 and a Masters Degree in 1992.
I worked at several banks in northern Utah for 19 years managing 3 different branch offices until 1990 when the bank I was working for was sold.  I went to work as an independent Real Estate Appraiser, which I did for many years. I am a Certified General Appraiser. After 20+ years of private appraisal practice, I went to work for the federal government as a Regional Review Appraiser for the USDA, which I am still doing today. I see no reason to retire, as I love my job, and am having way too much fun.

Hobbies, Interests, Travel
I love to fly, ride 4 wheelers, hunt, fish, and build things, like cabins, and do remodeling jobs around the house and at my ranch.

Volunteer Service In Your Community, Church
I have actually done a lot of volunteer work. I’ve been the  president of a Lions Club, and a Kiwanis club. I was secretary of the Junior Livestock auction in Box Elder County for many years.
A scout master for 20 plus years, with a Silver Beaver. But my real love is the time I spent for 28 years, as a volunteer fireman and EMT for Tremonton City Fire Dept. I was a certified EMT-I and ambulance coordinator for the agency. I loved using the big fire engines and ladder trucks, and the big and expensive ambulances. I have loved emergency medicine in general  I have now retired from the fire department, and most other service organizations, as travel and time do not now allow much participation.

Jean Barnum Holden -Manassas, VA

Career: Completed an Associates Degree at BYU. Things haven't changed career wise except that I have been a Teacher Assistant for a middle school for 33 years now. I really am counting the years until retirement. The next high school reunion I hope to say that I am retired!
Family: I am married and have 7 wonderful children and 14 (up two from last reunion) grandchildren. We have 2 more expected in July of this year. This grandma is more than a little excited. All of the children are doing very well in their careers and raising their children.
Hobbie & Interests: Love to read and site see. I have traveled to Canada and Europe and lived all but three years of my life in the states. Those 3 years out of the states was spent in Germany where two of my girls were born. I was able to spend a week in Washington state last year with my husband and one of my sons. I also made a few trips to Idaho to visit my brother and sister, other than that not much traveling except our yearly trip to the beach and fishing on every river or lake that happens along the way. I volunteer helping the disabled in all areas of their lives. I get as excited as they do when they accomplish something that has taken them a very long time to do. In church I have served as compassionate service leader, family enrichment leader, secretary in various organizations, primary teacher and presently I am the ward chair over the music....don't laugh I know I have no music ability, but music has become my life the last 3 years.
I was not in the service, but was a military wife for over 20 years.
